I have no friends. Help?

I always prefered to be alone... my parents think that me having no friends is unhealthy. I have several friends, but I never let anyone close enough to know my weaknesses. The only exception is my brother and my cousin, who Im best friends with. Why can't my parents understand that I dont need friends?

I sort of get what ur saying but then again what ur parents say makes sense to. I think u should learn to open up to people it helps if its not just to ur family. Having friends is fun and going out to places with them is even better just to enjoy life even more u know. Not all ppl r fake .. Live Life to The Fullest*:)

I totally understand you. I am perfectley content to be by myself all the time, or just hang out with a few close friends. It doesn't really matter what your parents think in the long run because you knwo who you are and what makes you happy and thats all that matters.

Im exactly like you! at home..im alone. only child.
in school/going out/weddings/parties i dont feel the 'need' to speak 24/7 and be surrounded with friends.
they r mostly fake anyways!
i dont even go to parties/weddings no more.

im glad ur not qorred about making friends, if u like being alone being urself thats great, but u should definwelty take ur parents feeling into consideration, gettin to no others opens up alot, ull get new experiences and probbaly feel differently, but no matter wat , stay true to urself, if thats u, then be u
