LIVE YOUR LIFE IN HAPPINESS AND GO CRAZY. MAKE THE GIRLS JEALOUS AND THE BOYS WANT YOU. BE WHAT THEY CAN'T HAVE. BE YOURSELF AND NEVER BACK DOWN. NEVER ACCEPT CRITICISMS MEANT TO DISCOURAGE YOU. ALWAYS STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU YOU AND DON'T WORRY WHAT THE GUYS THINK, ONLY THE PERSON YOU ARE MEANT TO BE WITH MATTERS IN DATING AND HE WILL LOVE YOU IN WHATEVER YOU DO AND SAY. DRESS YOUR OWN WAY. IF YOUR WAY IS FOLLOWING STYLES, GO FOR IT. BE YOU AND EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT, TALK TO WHOEVER YOU WANT, AND DO THINGS BECAUSE YOU LIKE THEM NOT EVERYONE ELSE. BE YOU! :D

U have to start with a plot outline. The more woryk u put itno that, the easier & better the writing will be. List key details & events 1st. in chrono order.

Make sure you pay attention to details, even the tiniest ones can make a difference.
The whole 'exciting words' and all that,
Make sure its exciting, and doesnt just drone on (Ive done this before lol)
Know what you want to write about. Plan it out so you have an idea.
You don't have to follow that plan exactly, I think writing is a little better if its half planned/half spontaneous, but its just so you know what you're gonna write about and its not just a shot in the dark.

msg me if you want any more =)

Also, make a thorough character list with interesting details, their appearance, weaknesses, strengths etc.

If you think your story is getting boring/monotonous, make something unexpected happen to the main character (could be something tragic, or really good).

Good luck and hope I helped! :)

I say one of the most important things is taking a writing class, whether it's in high school, college, or an independent teacher. I'm currently taking creative writing and believe me, there are A LOT of things you have to think about when writing a book, be it a fictional book or a nonfictional book. It will REALLY help. Also joining a writer's circle would help and even just doing short drabbles. Like everything else, writing takes practice, even if all you want to do it write one piece of work.

One final note, subscribing yourself to magazines about writing will definitely benefit you (like Writer's Digest). Not only do they show you the dos and don'ts of writing different types of books but they also give advice on being published and all that jazz. Hope this helps!
