I have no clue what carrer I want to persue which means I dont know what to major in in college.

Im soooo stuck on stupid. Time is ticking and I dont know what career I want to persue. I want a high paying job and I want to be very successfull. Please help me.

Hey! :) It's Katie, from the Seventeen Freshman 15. Since you are only fourteen, I would encourage you to pursue your interests as much as possible. Don't worry about your career options too much - for now, focus on extracurricular activities that you're interested in and doing well in school, so you can get into the best college possible, which is the basis of a good career later.

Well then you can be a doctor, nurse, lawer, and politics, if I start talking about politics this page will never end. :)

I know the clock is tickings, but honestly, I am 17 years old and a senior in highschool. I STILL don't know what I want to be.

I have ideas like, I love music and may want to major in it, I luv helping people, and cosmetology and such. But I DONT KNOW if i want to major in that.

You should find what you are truely interested and if you don't by the time you are a senior in H.S. You can start taking the required courses in college. That will give you a little extra time.

But there are also classes that put you in a lot of different "career" positions and let you experience different things to find what you truely want to do.

well idk i feel like no one can give you options.
you gotta pick something that's right for YOU! cause what someone thinks is a great job, you might think is boring or etc

You needa look at things that you enjoy doing. your hobbies.
Do you like art? or a certain sport. or helping people.even your personality traits. are you creative? talkative? opinionated? whatever interests you, you should look into. you want to do something you'll be happy doing!

& your choice doesn't have to be set in stone!
what you like now, you may not want to do when you go to college. as time goes on, you'll be exposed to more opportunities that may spark an interest of yours. Don't rush it! it's your career, do something you like! (:
