well tht is a pretty big age gap n it is considered child molestation since he is over 18 n u r under 18 so it is illegal. i would really incourage u to listen to ur parents cuz they know whats best for u n listen to what they say. hope this helps n goodluck

i would agree with your parents on this one. i doubt that it's even legal to marry someone with that big of an age difference, and i know that you can't marry before 18 without parental consent in most states. really, a 16 year age difference! that is creepy and extreme. i really strongly think that you should continue dating this guy for many more years until you are both on the same level physically, mentally, and emotionally. you are in high school and he graduated from college about 10 years ago. please be careful and good luck!
