Ok well u r sooo not stupid. I suggest using an exfoliation. On my hands I use Sweet Thang!, it takes off the dead skin frm ur hnd so tht new skin is on the suface. Also, I suggest using Aguaphor on ur hnds b4 bed and putting them in plastic baggies. Additionally, use baby oil or this gel type stuff called Vasaline liquid mostuizer with aloe vera [it is like a mix btw vasaline nd baby oil] bth really make ur skin smooth. Pls, mke sure to hydrate ursrlf nd dnt use hnd sanitizer. I suggest buying mosturizing soap too!!! Lastly, use lots of lotion!!! Eucerine wrks really good or use Johnson's baby lotion bc it'll be soothing on ur dry hnds. Hope I helped. =D

i had the same problem until my friend told me something i could do about it. slather on vasiline onto your hands, mostly on the problem areas before you go to bed. Put on some old gloves (soft ones) and leave them on during the night. In the morning your hands are really smooth. do this for as long as you want! hope this helps!

before bed put a really good hand cream on, like the vaseline kind or something. then put those little gloves on over top. it's kinda sticky and gross feeling but it'll trap the moisture in your hands.

Wash your hands and body in the shower with an exfoliating wbodywash( Try St.Ives Exfoliating Apricot Body Wash) and then after you shower use Aveeno Daily Moisterizing lotion(For extra Dry skin), use it all the time, and buy it in a little bottle also to carry with you throughout the day, like at school and stuff, I know it sucks when I don't have my lotion, my hands are all cracked. I use that in the fall/winter and then in spring/summer I use a lighter lotion(Try St.Ives lotion) They have a bunch of different scents so just pick one you like( I lllove the oatmeal and shea butter one;) Hope this helps, and I hope your hands get better!

This used to happen to me all the time. But I have found some really good lotions that I use every night before I go to bed and sometimes when my hands are dry, I will use them during the day. One lotion that is amazing is the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion. You can get it in big bottles at Sams Club, and probably other places, but I am not sure where else. Another awesome lotion is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. I'm not sure where you can get this, but you can most likely find this at common places like Walmart or Target. These are probably the two best lotions I have ever used and they aren't really greasy or anything.

Lubriderm Extra-Dry or something like that every 12/ hour when you're at home. And then during the day use a travel bottle of your favorite yummy-smelling hand cream when you're out.

This sounds weird, but rub Vaseline ALL over your hands before you go to sleep.Have someone slip socks over your hands so the cream doesn't go everywhere. You want to make sure you rub the lotion in,and then add a BUNCH more.

Okay try this, put vaseline and lotion on your hands before you go to bed, then put cotton gloves on and sleep with them on. When you wake up take them off and they should be really soft and smooth:] I had the same problem a couple years ago and this really worked.

drink plently of water (it really does help your skin), use tons of lotion and a good body wash. i had the same problem and i started using olay body ribbons and other olay shower products. the best lotion is palmers cocoa butter formula. they are both available at walmart or any other store. carry small travel size lotion with you every where. put it on whenever you think about it. if its still bad talk to your doctor. they can give you a prescription.

always look for a hydrating hand lotion in a shop such as bath and body works. it this isnt working, go see a dermatologist that can help prescribe a special lotion keeping your hands super soft, and youll never have to worry about dry hands again.
