aren't you tired of the beauty image that tv is sending us?

sometimes i feel like if girls only were pretty if they have hot bodys and beautiful features... many times i find myself worring of being like this and have a great body.
what do you think? do you feel happy with your body? or are you following what tv says?

I am a pretty confident girl; however, sometimes I even feel the pressure of the media. It seems like girls with curves have been tossed out and replaced with skinny anorexiac girls, something I will never ever be.

But being myself helps me stand out from the plastics, and that is something I love. All those other girls look the same if they try to follow the media.

i know i follow the media...
but im starting to get more confident in myself!
ithink i have a decent body figure (:
anyway, overall...
i think it's stupid and should not be influential because it's going to send all of the younger generations the TOTAL WRONG MESSAGE.
i remember being like 4... and wishing i was like barbie ( and im chinese. practical eh.?)
stupid society and the way of trying to change everyone!
they need more diversity.

yes cuz they point out our flaws to make us feel insacure and then we must buy the produck even though it might be pricy and then it sometimes doesnt even work just so they can get money

honestly, as much as the media really doesnt help, theyre not the only thing to blame. Personally, of course i feel the influence and pressure from the media,but for me even worse is constantly hearing guys talking about certain girls that are really hot. if anything that pressure is worse because instead of comparing yourself to supermodels that noone looks as hot as, i find myself comparing me to real girls, girls in my school and that are real not supermodels
