tips on straightening..

i have super curly hair and im geting bangs soon..
ive never straightened my hair before so does anyone have tips?

thanks for responding!! n i already have a hotcomb and flat iron. but since im only straightening the bangs it wont take much time. and when i straighten it, can i put on leave in conditioner or will that just make it curly? oh and i have this 'straightener' styling cream thats supossed to protect against heat so i think ill just use that..do i put leave in conditioner and hten the creme n then comb n then straighten?? plz help. i have pics on my profile.

spray from heat protected on your hair brush threw, i use chi.
then get some liquid hair spray and put your hair in layers so its easier to strighten, then spray liquid hairspray on the sections, but brush it through so its not wet, because if its wet it will burn. repeat the liquid hair spray for every layer., then finish with some hair spray,good lucck!

use hair straightening products that will keep your hair straight (so it wont curl) and use hydrating shampoo since heat damages hair. and i recommend a CHI straightener if you dont have a straightner. they are like the best

i have curly hair too and it took me awhile to perfect my straightening skillz. so make sure when you straighten you do it in sections, like my problem was i tried to straighten sections of hair that were too large at a time, so it didn't work. so work small section by small section. it may sound tedious but it will take no time once you get used to it. try to get heat protectant/straightenin g hair product too, it will make it straighter and also protect from the mean damaging straightner. good luck :)

i dont have curly hair. but i straighten my cusins hair all the time and hes is supper curly. i cute chi iorn gaurd. its what may hair stylist uses on me and it smells lovely. just turn ur straightener on high. and put it in layer. spray brush straighten. good luckk. :).
p.s. make sure ur hair is dry works the best.
