In today's world, school is about being known by everyone. Also known as being "popular".
I was once lurking in the school's little "super-social" groups. Most of the girls in that group had a different boyfriend every week or two. It was stupid. I remember how those girls just obsessed with themselves and nobody but themselves. They also loved to tease everyone else to make themselves feel better. Some of the girls even started to use drugs! I was tempted to smoke pot and take ecstasy once. That's when I pretty much had it.
I feel school and life would be easier being social, but not too social. Get what I mean?
Sure, it looks fun to be with those "in girls" who have all the guys and $300 dollar jeans. But under those heavy pounds of makeup, lie normal people. Just like us.
So all I'm saying is, from experience, don't worry about the school's stupid social rankings.
BE YOURSELF. Stick with your real friends.
