You won't get a job if you're picky. The economy's bad, you've gotta apply everywhere, and if you get an offer, it'll probably be the one you'll have to take.

you could try applying to one of your favorite stores or maybe a bookstore!

if anyone you know has a job harass them till they ask thier boss to hire you, thats how i got a job. other than that however much time you plan to put into a job after you get one is how much you should put in to finding one. go to the mall and ask every store you wouldn't kill yourself in to hire you

why dont you start by checking out places, to see which ones have the highest pay, and which ones you would want to do of corse. And the jobs like in a grocery store may look boring but they could be quite fun if you worked there, its not like you would have to keep that job forever, right?
