How Long Should I wait...

For Abs, first of all if you want a flat stomach then you'll have to eliminate all white breads, rices, and pastas out of your diet. Doing 500 crunches a day won't get you a flatter stomach. First, you must get rid of all the fat you may have in your stomach to get defined abs. To do this you'll have to rev up your metabolism. The less you eat, the slower your metabolism will be and the more weight you'll gain. The trick is eating small meals every two hours, but they have to be protein filled. I drink whey protein shakes, they're good for you and the myoplex chocolate ones are delicious. It's almost like drinking a milkshake. Whey protein has all the right amino acids for making muscle and making your metabolism move faster. Also, it gives you energy. Since you run, you need lots of energy. Get this energy from good carbs like veggies, fruits, and sometimes whole wheat breads and rices. Remember, more protein than carbs. What happens to carbs if you don't use up all the energy in them is that they'll get stored into fat. Also, it's important to work that stomach. If you realize that you have a little bit of fat in your stomach and you want to get rid of it first get rid of it and then the abs will come if you exercise right. Crunches are effective but only when your abs are already warmed up. Do leg lifts, gymnastics style. I do about 25 leg lifts and then 50 crunches and again 25 leg lifts. The leg lifts produce tension in your abs before you do you the crunches. Since your tummy is all tense, the crunches will be more concentrated and more effective.

What you are missing is motivation. Use the reward/punishment system. If you manage to maintain or loose weight than reward yourself by treating yourself to a spa day or a night out with the girls. If you gain weight you punish yourself by not watching your favorite series for a month or not partying for a whole semester. Whatever works for you.

Weight problems. Please help, thanks.

Okay so I haven't eaten soda, candy, cookies, cake, or any type of junk food in 32 days. And I excersize at least once a day. I NEED to loose weight because i have disgusting thighs and I dont like my arms but my stomach is flat. What can I do to make my thighs A LOT smaller before summer.

I need motivation. Im so super excited for summer and i really wanna start working out so i can...

look good in tanks tops, shorts, and swimsuits for summer. Because i really dont. Im not extremly overweight and fat, but i am overweight, out of shape and self consious. I love summer SO much but thats really my only motivation. What are some things that can help me stay motivated? BTW, on my ipod i listen to music that reminds me of summer. I need to lose fat in my thighs and flatten my stomach.
