What's a good college major if I want to work for a magazine like 17 when I'm older?

I am a freshman in college and I am really interested in celebrities, music and fashion. I think I want to work for a magazine like seventeen when I'm older. What's a good major to go into?

I'm a 15 year old homeschool graduate, should I go to a community college or go live the dorm life?

Am I too young to go live on my own? I'll be sixteen, or should I just stay at home for two years and go to a community college to "wing" myself into the college world a little at a time? I'm so confused.
