I am 16 years old and is thinking of having sex for the first time. Im looking for long term effective birth control. I once read that the IUD can protect you from pregnancy for 5 to 10 years, Im really interested in getting it but Im just wondering if my age would be a problem. So, can I get the IUD at age 16?
